Automatic Door Repair in Stratford
Stratford and the Olympic Park have been transformed since 2012 into one of the highest-density automatic door environments in East London. Westfield Stratford, the East Bank cultural quarter and the Stratford station approaches all run continuous heavy footfall. The additional constraint here is that site access requires building-management permits in most of the new commercial stock, so repairs must be scheduled, not dispatched ad-hoc.

Local Failure Patterns
- Westfield Stratford City runs 7-day continuous trading, with sliding door belts failing at 12–18 month intervals under the centre's footfall load.
- East Bank (V&A, Sadler's Wells, BBC) cultural-quarter entrances use modern operators with event-day peaks, where pre-event servicing is essential.
- Stratford station approaches operate on transport-linked 20-hour duty, so repairs must be scheduled in the short overnight window.
- Canning Town, Royal Docks and Beckton new-build commercial uses current-generation GEZE and Dorma doors, where parts are readily available but site access is the constraint.
